Frequently Asked Questions

  • The practical training costs approximately 680,000 SEK (around 60,000 EUR). Additional costs include authority fees and theory. Payment is made progressively as you fly.

  • The CPL(H) modular course costs 59,000 EUR. This requires you to already hold an EASA PPL(H) and 155 hours of flight time. Additional hours are charged at 1,490 EUR per hour.

  • You need a Class 2 Medical Certificate before starting the training. You must be at least 16 years old. No grade requirements.

  • The private helicopter certificate training includes minimum 45 hours of flight training and 1.5 hours flight test. These are the minimum requirements from the authority.

  • We have no fixed course starts – you begin when it suits you. We run the training individually so we can start almost anytime.

  • Practical training takes place at our facility in Västerås (Lycksta Gård), Sweden. Theory is conducted at Flygteoriskolan, also in Västerås.

  • Payment is made progressively as you fly. This is private financing – no government student aid (CSN) is available.

  • Yes, we offer accommodation on site for our students at no additional cost.

  • Yes, we offer a trial lesson for 7,500 SEK on the EC120B in Västerås with an instructor for 30 minutes.

  • No, we focus exclusively on practical flight training. The theoretical training (EASA theory) is provided by Flygteoriskolan, also located in Västerås. We recommend completing the theory before starting practical training.

  • We train on the Airbus EC120B.
