To have smooth Flight Operations we need to work closely with the Maintenance Organisation to plan the scheduled maintenance well ahead to also suit the operational missions. This makes it impossible to contract an external company to perform the inspections of our helicopters.
This mean that we of course have our own EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organisation. Whilst the Part-M CAMO make sure we follow the scheduled maintenance program and any mandatory SB/AD, the Part-145 is the organisation that actually perform the work ordered by the CAMO.
In our Part-145 we only use the top-of-the-line tools and all the technicians have their own toolboxes.
