Sea Survival Training

We constantly keep our crew up-to-date when it comes to emergency situations. Now it was time for a scenario where we have no other option than to ditch into water.

The last two years we have done the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) at a facility outside Gothenburg. This year we flew to Flight Physiological Centre in Linköping for Sea Survival Training. At this facility we had the opportunity to try different scenarios under various meteorological conditions. High wind strength, rain, darkness and waves made the exercise very realistic.
