Time to start fly a new helicopter type? We offer type rating courses on all the helicopter types in our fleet. It doesn’t matter if you have another issuing state of your certificates, we can still perform the course and skill test for you and your competent authority.
We hold an approval to conduct type rating courses on the following helicopter types:
- Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2, B3, B3+ and B3e
- Airbus Helicopters EC120B
- Airbus Helicopters EC135 T2+
- Bell UH-1H/ B205
The courses consist of both theory for the actual helicopter type and practical flight training. If it’s your first rating on a turbin engine helicopter, the minimum flight hours required will be 5 hours. If you already have a rating on a turbine helicopter, the flight hours requirement is reduced to a minimum of 2 hours. The duration for the courses depends on your previous flight experience and proficiency, normally we’ll complete the course in 4 days if weather permits.
