The day begins with a comfortable flight with one of HeliAir’s pilots. From the air you get a fine view of the west coast landscape before landing near High Adventure’s high-ropes course in Gothenburg. Starting the day this way saves not only time but energy, so you can put all of it into the adventure ahead.
High Adventure has a series of demanding and genuinely enjoyable activities that suit anyone with an appetite for them, whatever their age or experience. The course runs from zip lines that leave your stomach behind to balance challenges high up among the treetops. It is a good place to test your limits, and perhaps to get the better of a fear of heights.
After a few hours of that, HeliAir takes you on to the next stop – Smögen. This well-known fishing village, with its brightly painted wooden houses along the famous Smögen jetty, is the right place for an unhurried afternoon. Eat fresh shellfish, look around the local shops and take in the pace of the place.
Smögen is where the day slows down. Walk the jetty, try something landed locally and enjoy the view out over the water. If there is time, take a short boat trip out to the nearby islands, or simply sit and watch the sun go down before the flight home.
